The Gone-Days Are Gone

The gone days are gone, blazing their flame
The gone days are gone, blazing their flame,
It's in thy hand to dwell in rue or claim fame.

The tussle in heart and mind will stay.
A silent peaceful war with much to say.

A thought clings in the shadows of memories
Like an uncharted avenue that leads to mysteries.

A whisper of clouds dances in the brain,
Twisting your aim in the pursuit of gain.

In the storm of fusion and fission,
Find a resilient heart and mission.

In the theatre of the mind, a picture lies
Singing and dancing, the characters rise.

Whether you regret the villain's deceit,
Or glam up the heroine, her beauty complete.

Or prepare your hero for the vision to see,
It's all in your hands—how your story will be.

The wish-for days that are gone are gone
It's high time to sow the seeds to be grown.
